Description
July 11-15 SPORTS FOCUS
Title:
The Unforgiving Servant
Subtitle:
What does it mean to love like Jesus? How can I forgive others repeatedly because Jesus has always forgiven me?
Description:
Being part of a team means giving and asking for forgiveness. This camp teaches kids the importance of forgiving others because we ourselves have been forgiven. Through Bible teaching and worship, reading and math centers, structured playtime, and hands-on learning in interdisciplinary sports, campers will learn to consistently demonstrate love, compassion, and forgiveness while supporting their teammates.
After learning the parable, campers will participate in drills and practices to improve balance, coordination, focus, discipline, self-control, and overall physical abilities. Campers will learn ball handling techniques in basketball, soccer, volleyball, and football and then have a choice of extended practice time in their preferred sport. Campers will have the chance to compete in various sports in age-appropriate groups. This camp is ideal for children who like to be active, children who want to learn how to be a better teammate, and children who are ready to have fun exploring new skills and improving existing skills!
