June 27 – July 1 SPANISH FOCUS
Lost Things Get Found
What does it feel like to lose something and then find it again? How much better does God feel when lost sinners return to Him?
Even if you feel hopelessly lost and alone, God is always searching for you and wanting to bring you home. This camp will teach students that they are never too lost for Jesus to find them and the importance of participating in God’s work to bring sinners back into the fold. Through Bible teaching and worship, reading and math centers, structured playtime, and engaging and immersive language instruction, campers will explore and experience the feelings of alienation, restoration, and the importance of seeking the lost for Christ.
After learning the parable, campers will explore the Spanish language and culture through hands-on activities, games, and songs. Campers will learn about people who are different from them and experience what it is like to not understand what someone else is saying. Campers will learn to communicate some basic ideas, sing a song about Jesus, and share a Bible verse in Spanish. This camp is ideal for children who like to learn new things, children who love to talk and sing, and children who are ready to have fun exploring a different culture and language!
