How does God sow the seed of Truth into my heart? How can I be a part of God’s design for Truth dispersal in the Kingdom?

Description:
Sometimes we look at the sin and dirt in our lives and don’t see anything good. God sees our dirty hearts and sees a good place to plant his Word. This camp teaches kids to open up their hearts to hear the Word of God and to allow it to take root in their lives so that they can share it with others for a harvest. Through Bible teaching and worship, reading and math centers, structured playtime, and hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and math, campers will observe, identify, and model the various ways plants disperse their seeds and how this reflects God’s word in our lives.

After learning the parable, campers will explore a garden sensory bin to categorize different types of seeds and soils. Campers will create and observe a window greenhouse to compare seed germination processes. Campers will examine, design, and evaluate prototypes for seed dispersal. Finally, campers will create a mini booklet to share the Parable of the Seeds and all they have learned about God’s design for spreading His Word. This camp is ideal for children who like to observe and design new processes, children who love to explore God’s great creation, and children who aren’t afraid to try new ideas and get a little messy!
